One of my friends posted a bulletin at Friendster about a complaint about University Malaysia Sabah( International Campus) . She condemned the person who file a complaint about the university saying how ungrateful is that person for not being grateful about the chance of at least getting into a public university when countless of other is denied(Point 1 taken). And finally my friend degraded that person by saying the person who complaint must be loser that fail to get into foreign university*gasp!* You can read bout the complaint here.
Oh my god! In the first place everybody has to have access to a good quality education. If that person feels what's provided is not enough then he or she certainly have the rights to complaint. Honestly when was the last time you heard that Malaysia education is the best?Except from propaganda from government? Yeah I don't think so either.
I think most Malaysia just refused to open their mind at all.Every criticism has to be taken personally. I think this sort of attitude drives us backward. Haish.....racism in Malaysia is also not getting better.Now recently with pig farm and all that...
I was discussing with Sonic over delicious Korean meal, that Malay in Malaysia need to accept that there are ppl who eat pig. If Hindus can accept we eat beef who is actually a sacred animal in Hindu religion and their god as well then why can't we accept chinese eat pig? It's just a freaking animal anyway.

man,if this is how malaysians think what a university should be like,
(ie:lecturers lecturing in english with intertional students, lack of facilities and worst of all, grade blackmails)
we are really fucking far from being competitive heck we're not even close.We should deserve equal rights of education no matter where we study, thats how competitive it should be, if they speak english, and if takes english for us to be MORE competitive than thats what we should do ...
apparently i dont care what he/she has to say about public amenities,i wouldnt expect much from that part with regard to malaysia but the comments about the rest are too absurb and too unbareable...
Malaysians should not only just open their eyes, but they should also start LOOKING as well.
