what happen in may ?

first, i had this stupid ignorant cold war with unmentionable name * feels like cold war in the 60's with soviet + us and harry potter's evil guy although i haven't decided whether i want to be the commies or the capitalist? *

second weda and seri graduated. it was fun having their families came over and the commencement was boring to hell.seriously !

third i move to a new house and left towers for good.

fourth i am going to midwest games although i am only the spectator.

i try reading more book. honestly i try. because i think i am at the path where my vocab have leave me for good. i have a hard time recalling word nowdays....

i'm taking economic and management technology this summer. and it is so wonderful that my summer seems to pass quickly.

wong kar wai

well to me he is a master in evoking emotions and question. watching his latest film which is way overdue for his admirer i like the questions and emotions he proposed in 2046. i like art-noir with a flair of avant-garde type of film.Noir means something that is views in a darker prospective,the main character isn't always honorable.and avant garde means that they do it in a new innovative way. well literally and through my interpretation ,that is what it means.for some people who is not familiar with wong kar wai works,they maybe a bit lost because he is not using the usual narrative that is so ever common can be found in hollywood films. I like his style because there is no true answer to what he is asking.I can find my own conclusion any way i like. Watching his film is like a dare.It dares you to ask question and make decision. Even though most of his film is closely related to fate and most of the characters make a conclusion that it all depends on fate somehow i got a perception that, the solitude and loneliness the character feeling is because they never want to fight their fate. Fate and destiny is 2 different thing to me. Fate you can change but destiny no. Fate is consequence of action i think.In 2046 the theme as i think was the turbulent and chaos * this is from the setting of the film,1966-1969 where the riots in hk just end and the graphically and geometricall intricated and bright colors of the wallpaper and the close living space the character is living symbolised all of this*, solitude and loneliness * base on tony leung kar wai character that is shutting himself constantly in his room and refusing any sort of commitment* and finally time*since tony shuts himself after rejecting li su zhen and lost the love* .As quoted from the movie "meeting the right person too soon or too late is useless". the movie makes me a bit lonely though. it was beautiful of course and capture with too much emotion that it makes me think and feel too much. well anyway if you ever want to watch his movie, he isn't famous for narrating a movie, his plot doesn't make sense sometimes but it is the way he express,the bold lines of graphic and stylish cinematography that i admire in his movie. so really go see days of being wild, in the mood for love, infernal affair trilogy although i only recommend the first and lastly chunking express.
